Employment Contract Rules

Gustave Flaubert Institute — Public Information

1. Position and Duties

▸The employee is employed as a Teacher at Gustave Flaubert Institute.
▸Perform assigned work diligently and achieve the expected results.
▸Maintain professionalism and respect toward students, parents, and colleagues.
▸Avoid discussions related to religion, racism, or other sensitive topics with students or parents.
▸The Institute provides all teaching materials and all accounts needed for teaching (platforms, curriculum, student access).

3. Salary and Payment

▸This contract is a CDI (Contrat à Durée Indéterminée) under the French system, renewable annually.
▸The pay rate depends on qualifications, experience, and pronunciation. The Institute is the only authority allowed to decide the rate.
▸Pay date is the 5th of every month. In extreme cases when transaction issues arise, payment may be delayed but will never be made after the 20th of the month.
▸Payment methods: PayPal or Bank Transfer (within selected countries).
▸Discussing salary with other teachers is strictly prohibited and leads to immediate dismissal.
▸Pay raises are the unique and exclusive decision of the Director. No teacher may request or demand a raise; raises are granted at the Director's sole discretion.

4. Rules and Conduct

▸No private contact with students outside the Institute — violation leads to immediate dismissal and withholding of unpaid salary.
▸Sharing student or Institute structure information outside the organization is strictly forbidden.
▸Missing a scheduled class twice leads to immediate dismissal.
▸Being late to a class three times leads to dismissal.
▸Any change in available hours requires prior approval from the Institute.
▸Vacation requests must be submitted at least 1 week in advance.
▸Teachers are entitled to one (1) week of paid vacation per year.
▸The paid vacation week is granted only to teachers who have no unjustified or weakly justified absences during the year. Any unjustified or weakly justified absence disqualifies the teacher from the paid vacation week for that year.
▸Working for other companies is allowed but must be disclosed.
▸Resignation requires 1 month notice — otherwise all pending payments are seized and the teacher cannot reapply.
▸Resignation is only allowed after completing at least one full year at the Institute. Resigning before completing one year is considered a breach of contract — it denies the teacher the right to reapply to the Institute in the future and allows the Institute to seize all pending payments.

5. Pension Plan (Optional Opt-In)

▸The teacher may choose to opt in to the Institute's Pension Plan.
▸When opted in, 5% of the teacher's monthly salary is contributed and saved in the Institute's system each month.
▸The Institute adds an additional monthly contribution on top of the teacher's contribution.
▸The pension savings are held and managed by the Institute and released according to the pension contract terms.
▸Opting in requires signing a separate Pension Contract available inside the Work Contract page.

6. Term and Renewal

▸This contract is valid for one year from the date of signing and is renewable upon mutual agreement.

7. Contract Revocation

▸The Institute reserves the right to revoke and terminate any employment contract at any time for violations of the rules above.
▸Upon termination, a public notice is displayed on this screen showing the teacher's first name and the termination date.
▸Terminated contracts are void immediately and all pending payments may be withheld.
